There are various styles of Product Cooling Conveyor Systems available and following are typical options:
In- Line Single Pass Ambient Cooling Conveyor:The Cooling Conveyor is constructed from stainless steel with Wire Web stainless steel conveyor belting which runs on UHMP encapsulated, interchangeable, chevron wear strips and incorporates an automatic product aligning system to minimise the gap between product rows, thus optimising the Cooler length.
Note: Fan Units can be incorporated to assist with the product cooling.
Underslung Two Pass Ambient Cooling Conveyor:
This style of Cooling Conveyor is located underneath the Hotplate Unit, when the space available on site is at a premium.
The Cooling Conveyors are constructed from stainless steel with Wire Web stainless steel conveyor belting which runs on UHMP encapsulated, interchangeable, chevron wear strips. The product transfer from the top tier to the bottom tier is achieved by the utilisation of stainless steel pre-formed curved sheet.
Note: Fan Units can be incorporated to assist with product cooling.
Conditioned In-Line Cooler:The In-Line Cooler comprises of a Single Pass conveyor system constructed from stainless steel with Wire Web stainless steel conveyor belting which runs on UHMP chevron wear strips.
The Conditioned Cooling system operates by blowing conditioned air directly on to the product and into the surrounding enclosure. The air cooled via an integral cooling coil is delivered from the custom built air handling unit through supply ductwork and into perforated plenum chambers supported above the cooling conveyor. The air is then recirculated back to the air handling unit via return air ductwork connected into the top of the cooling conveyor enclosure.
The recirculated air is suitably filtered through a bag filter to EU6 filtration.
Chilled water is supplied via a packaged type refrigerated chiller unit.<>/p>
The Air Handling Unit comprises chassis frame of seam welded plastisol coated pentapost section with alloy corner pieces. Inset cover panels, plastisol coated on the outside with galvanised steel on the inner. Panels with mineral wool insulation are fitted using gasket and internal plated screws and have a hinged access door with continuous thickness seal. Air leakage to HEVAC.
The Fan Section is constructed from chassis frame and cover panels as previously described and incorporates a DIDW forward/backward curved fan driven by a TEFC metric motor via a vee belt drive.
The Fan and Motor are mounted on a sub frame, isolated from the unit casing by spring anti-vibration mountings and flexible connections off the fan discharge.
The Filter section is constructed from chassis frame and cover panels as previously described and is provided with special purpose holding frames to accept the type of filter being used, with front or rear withdrawal and positive clip arrangement to ensure filter integrity.
The section is provided with a quick release hinged door for ease of maintainance.
