The Sugden Chocolate or Fondant Pumping, Enrobing and Decorating systems are available as stand alone units or can be integrated in to existing automatic systems.

As a stand alone unit the products are to be manually loaded on to the laned infeed conveyor of the unit or in the case of an integrated system the products are to be automatically fed on to the laned infeed conveyor unit.

The pre-enrobing belt infeed conveyor is complete with guide lanes to give a minimum space to each side of the product of 10mm when the product is located on the enrobing system. The conveyor body is manufactured from stainless steel and is complete with stainless steel hollow section support legs which are spaced off the conveyor body for cleaning and hygiene purposes.
The conveyor belt is of Pu material and the conveyor unit has an inverter controlled central drive unit, bullnose transfers at the infeed and discharge ends for product transfer and has manual tensioning and belt tracking facilities.
With the stand alone unit the conveyor is complete with heavy duty castors for mobility and with the integrated system the conveyor is complete with swivel feet, to cater for floor anomalies, with a +/- 50mm height adjustment.

From the discharge of the infeed belt conveyor the product is transferred on to the Wire Web Conveyor Belt of the Enrobing conveyor unit. This conveyor is inverter controlled and has bullnose transfers to each end.
The Wire Web conveyor is constructed in stainless steel and incorporates stainless steel removeable Collection Trays all being mounted on a stainless steel support structure.

Mounted above the Wire Web conveyor is the Enrobing system which includes a stainles steel Receiving Hopper (with low level alarm), Twin contra-rotating polished rollers and two scraper units for the creation of a twin curtain for the enrobing process.
The excess enrobing material is dispersed in to an angular construction stainless steel jackettted vessel which is located within the side frames of the conveyor unit and the excess enrobing material, by gravity, is fed from this unit in to a jacketed Pump Hopper.
The excess enrobing material in the jacketed Pump Hopper is recycled back to the Receiving Hopper via a Pump Unit and jacketed stainless steel pipework which incorporates a twin filter system.
The jacketed elements of the construction utilise temperature controlled hot water, which is stored in an on-board Holding Tank and the water is circulated via an on-board Circulation Pump to keep the enrobing material in its molten state.

The Sugden Decorating unit is usually located at the discharge end of the customers product cooling system and comprises of a 300Kg capacity Jacketed Holding Vessel complete with twin arm impeller and bottom outlet, Stainless steel jacketed pipework complete with manual Holding Tank discharge valve, Pump, Temperature Controlled Hot Water Holding Tank and Circulation Pump, Decorating Unit with harmonic motion and a Split Wire Web Conveyor Unit complete with bullnose transfers at the infeed and discharge and a collection tray for the non applied decoration substance.

The minimal quantity of non applied decoration substance is to be manually re-fed to the jacketed Holding Vessel for recycling purposes.
