This is a spray system which sprays the lubricant through 360 degrees without rotation. An air manifold and pressurised oil line are included, however it is normal for the lubricant supply company to provide the spray heads to the Customer on a free of charge basis.
The Rings are aligned for spraying by means of a permanent magnet system mounted to the machine frame.
This assembly incorporates the product rings. The rings are transported around the machine in a rectangular circuit and the Batter retaining rings, located in the Ring Frames, are lubricated automatically with the Ring Oiling system before being indexed forward onto the Baking Surface.
Prior to the Rings being lubricated they are cleaned by the utilisation of a Ring Cleaning System which is located on the return pass of the rings and consists of multiple powered Rotary Brushes which are pneumatically lowered in to the rings for a pre-determined period of time. The debris removed is collected in a catch tray which can be removed for cleaning purposes.
Before the Batter is deposited in to the rings a magnetic ring location device is fitted to compensate for any differential linear expansion of the materials.
Baking of the products takes place as the Plattens index forward over the heated surface and the products proceed to bake off. The rings index away from the heated surface to continue around the rectangular circuit, the products now continue for top toasting by the Infra Red Grill.
The rings have a quick release frame system for removal and this is contstructed in stainless steel (Laser cut and folded). The rings are contained by two rods and the removal of either rod will leave the rings ready for release. The rod removal does not require tools. The advantage of this system is that a large amount of ring movement within the frame is incorporated resulting in free ring movement for a longer period of time.
c) Hotplate (Bottom Deck):The Hotplate framework is constructed in stainless steel and incorporates insulation and removeable side panels. The side panels are insulated so as to achieve minimal heat loss thus giving the product the maximum heat available.
The Top and Bottom Decks are mechanically linked.
The Plattens on the Bottom Deck are in carbon steel and range from 6 to 10mm in thickness, dependant on the width of the plant.
The heat source is by a `Blown Flame` heating system which gives a high efficiency operation and gives up to a 30% reduction in gas consumption when compared with conventional systems.
Flame ignition is automatic as are both the Temperature Control and Heat Sensing.
The Burner construction is modular, incorporates a Flame failure system and complies with Gas Safety Standards.
As standard both the Top and Bottom Decks have automatic air tensioning facility and an Exhaust Canopy with fans and regulation pressure switches are included.
d) Infra Red Grill:This unit is mounted directly to the Hotplate (Bottom Deck) machine frame and is adjustable in height. The unit is an infra-red gas fired system and should be run constantly on the maximum fire rate so that the variation effect on the product is achieved by height adjustment. The infra-red unit has automatic ignition and includes an automatic flame failure system.
e) Product Removal:
Product removal from the Hotplate (Bottom Deck) is achieved by the utilisation of individual Spatulas.
The Spatulas have a two stage motion, one to sweep the product in line from the Hotplate and the second to discharge the product on to a Cooling Conveyor belt.
