The Sugden Mobile Baguette Slicer is designed for use in the Sandwich Manufacturing sector and will give full or semi slice at high speed. The depth and position of cut are variable to suit the product being handled.

The machine is constructed from stainless steel and the infeed product carriers are manufactured from acetal.

The product is to be manually loaded in to the infeed individual conveyor recessed carriers and are held in position for slicing by means of flexible cups which apply a minimal downward pressure to the product. The product is then discharged via a chute.

The conveyor is variable speed, a crumb collection vessel is incorporated and the machine is guarded to meet CE regulations.

The machine conveyor and slicer are activated and de-activated by depressing the relevant push buttons on the Control Panel.

The unit comes complete with a three phase flying lead plug and socket arrangement.

Note: The machine comes as standard with one style of product carriers. If it is proposed that different styles of product are to be sliced on the same machine then additional product carriers will be required. However the removal and installation of different product carriers has been designed to minimise downtime to effect the change and the changeover may be made whilst resetting the slice position, etc. for the different product.
